HOUSTON, TX -- A new study conducted by Exxon has concluded that as the atmospheric temperature rises, so does oil drilling efficiency. The effects are quite startling, with around 41 million barrels added each day to production for each 1/18 of a degree increase.
"The machines just pull it out of the ground with much more ease. Think of it like slicing butter. It gets easier as the butter gets warmer," said Exxon adviser Volodya Rurik.
Exxon advises people to not join in the movement to waste gasoline in order to bring prices down.
